I ask for your vote to the 57^th District Court so that I may serve the citizens of Bexar County. I have been serving the community for the past eight years as an attorney. I learned all about hard work through my mother, who always stressed the need to give back to your community. 

 

I am currently an associate Municipal Court Judge and Magistrate for the City of San Antonio, and was recently reappointed by the mayor and city council. I am a hardworking attorney and fair judge.

 

I know I can give even more to my community and serve them well as a District Court Judge. Having practiced in both the civil and criminal courts, I have acquired more trial experience than even some of the most seasoned attorneys. I have earned a strong reputation in the legal community for always being well prepared and fighting for what is right. The reason I became an attorney was so that I could help people.

 

One of my most memorable, family law cases was when I came across a woman crying on the courthouse steps. She had just lost custody of her young daughter to her estranged husband. I took her back to my office, accepted no money, and gave her one of my own suits to wear to court. Shortly thereafter, we returned to court and I won her case. Her child was returned to her along with the child support she was entitled.  See More - Toni Makes a Difference.

 

As your judge for the 57^th Judicial District Court, I promise to always follow the law, listen to both sides and rule fairly. 

Family First 

Toni grew up in a large family of eight girls. She learned about working hard from her mother, Felicitas, who was widowed when Toni was only two years old. Toni is a first generation college graduate. After earning her degree at the University of Texas, Toni went on to law school. She graduated with a Doctorate of Juris Prudence from St. Mary’s University right here in San Antonio. As you can see in the photo to the right, Toni has always let her voice be heard ever since she was on her mother’s lap. Her own mother’s work ethic and commitment to “giving back” to the community motivated Toni to help her clients’ voice be heard. As a judge, she ensures that all voices in her courtroom are heard. Toni puts family first. She shares your values. We need her on the bench. We need her to put her experience and family background to work for the citizens of Bexar County. We can trust her to work hard, listen and execute the law fairly.
